Hanging in there....

I did weigh-in on thursday of last week, just didn't get a chance to post. I stayed the same. I was kinda bummed because I was working so hard last week but, I know things will even out soon. I did well most of the week but I did have a few times I just didn't watch what I ate. I am retaining so much water right now that my foot is numb and tingling since Saturday. The scale jumped up 5 pounds overnight. I'm sure glad I don't record my weight everyday!!! It could drive a person to overeating. Ok...bad joke. It does get me crazy with how my body fluctuates though. And I've been thinking I may need to re-evaluate what works for me cause I'm slowing down on the losses. I've lost 24 pounds.....is that enough to hit a plateau? Maybe I need to change things around. I did double classes again on Monday, 2 hours.

don't worry about that wonky scale. You know it's water. Regarding your other post about the Christmas Challenge...I know. I feel the same way, like I always set goals and never reach them. At the beginning of 2008, I plugged weight values into my outlook calendar as goals. It's very discouraging to have a number pop up every 3 months to remind me of my failure. Maybe we just need to set less agressive goals?

I think you're doin great! If you think you're at a plateau, maybe you should talk to the person who teaches your exercise classes, they would probably have some good advice for you.

I stayed the same for 2 weeks. Last week I tried to eat something with protein every 2-3 hrs and cut out sugar and watched carbs religiously. This week I was down 2. Maybe it will work for you if you seem to be on a plateau.

Hi,
I also stay the same for two weeks in a row on occasion and I have not lost a whole lot since I have started again but what my problem was to many "carbs" and once I cut the "carbs" in half and ate mostly good "carbs" instead of bad ones I finally saw the scale move down. I now eat more protein and low carb and been doing great with it. It's something to try if you want to do something up differently in your diet.

Thanks for your comment on my blog and yes I do like the cute WI icon ...sorry I guess I should have asked you first before I used it on my blog ...my bad :( Any ways I would love to have one that matches my blog ...that would be cool. Hope you have a great LOSER WEEK. Take care.
