The pot luck BBQ went well!! I made good healthy food choices and kept myself busy painting faces. The next day was my daughters birthday and I made some not so good choices for a few days last week. But over all I still had a loss of .2 pounds for the week. Not a good loss but never the less a loss and not a gain.
I have been trying to keep track of all the food I eat as recommended by Mama Bear June. This is so hard sometimes!!! How do you calculate a" bite" of something??? Anyway I am working on getting it down. I have been doing more activities too. Swimming feels so good on these hot days. I have to have the fan on in the house though when I try to do any kind of work out.....I get so hot!
One thing I really need to work on is getting enough SLEEP! I have read that lack of sleep is not good for loosing weight.
So off to bed I go.
Hope everyone is doing good this week!!

I have real trouble tracking food, too. I just find it so tedious. And, I'm right there with you on the hot work outs, it's so much easier for me if I'm standing in a breeze or it's generally cold:-)
I used to worry about getting it *exactly* right when food logging, but then I figured out that as long as I was losing, it was really enough to just record a "guesstimate" and move on.
I finally bought one of those handheld fans for my workouts. Maybe I won't look like I've been in an explosion when I leave the gym. Or maybe I will, but I won't *feel* like it. :)
have a wonderful week!
A loss is a loss girl! I used to obsess about that stuff too but I know that personally- I take bites so in my XXXX number of calories a day I just say 200 of them are for the bites throughout the day and budget my meals with the rest. It seems to be working :)
Yes, sleep is REALLY important! Congrats on your loss. Keep going in the right direction. Once I figured out what a serving was, I try to limit myself to those and not have a lot of extra "bites" throughout the day. Sometimes I generalize, I'm not always exactly right either. It's just about being AWARE of what you are putting into your body. One bite of a cookie or brownie isn't going to add up to a lot of fat and calories, but several most certainly WILL! ;-)
